Beyond Bionic - BBC

This was a fun little shoot we did for a show out of the UK. The host Andy Torbet, underwater explorer, skydiver, adventurer and TV presenter (as per Wikipedia), was testing out the Newt Suit. The Newt Suit is an atmospheric diving suit the enables the wearer to dive to great depths do work all the while at 1 atmosphere eliminating the need for hours of decompressing.

We worked with a small crew in the tank that the facility at the time used for testing their deep sea products. We used my Sony A7Sii which is a great tool for lower budget projects or sequences in small tanks or different tight squeeze scenarios.

Aiden Zanini helped shoot this show underwater. It was fun to work in a different format (TV host educational show format) with the crew from the UK.
