Altered Carbon

This was one of my favorite days on set. We shot scenes from about 4 different episodes with two directors, two cinematographers, and two 1st AD’s. Both teams were absolutely amazing to work with. We got a lot of great content in less than a 12 hour day.

One of the underwater sequences started the series off with a shot of Joel Kinnaman, the series lead, being sort of incubated underwater. It's a beautiful wide angle shot of him hanging, suspended peacefully in a coma like state. It was fun to see the underwater starting off the series.

I remember at the end of the shooting day thinking, did we just have such a cool day like that?
